I too am very glad it went well.. worse case scenerio I hope I have a new friend... I was very nervous... VERY... and it all went well.
I learned alot about him.... 6'2" red hair, single father raising 3 of his children (the other two are young adults now)... maintenance manager working lots of hours (80+ a week)... VERY dedicated dad who spends ALL of his non-working time w/ his kids (another words last night was probably the first time he has been out to have fun in a long time)... favorite food is Seafood... ex military... hmmm... country music... hmmm... Lixy.. I think I answered all your inquiries oh... except the Boxer/brief question... but as soon as I find that out.. I will let you know
Oh... and nope.. no call yet today... but it is only 8:40 am.. so I am not stressing about that YET.
Hugs to all of you... thanks soooo much for the positive vibes.. I know they helped....

I am so glad that you had a good time! He sounds interesting!
BTW - there is nothing wrong with you calling him and letting him know that you had a wonderful time. Did you get his e-mail address? He works a lot - 80+ hours! 6'2" yum - nice and tall.
I am smiling from ear to ear for you!

Thank you all... this thread has been wonderful for me.. more than you know... has been good on my ego... and a great source of courage....
No call from him today... BUT... I am not reading too much into that... I know that he has a very full plate busy with work and kids... hopefully at some point.. when he decides he needs to get away and have fun.. hopefully he will call...
IF not.. I am fine with that too.... the experience alone was a valuable one... after years of no dating.. it was a nice way for me to get my feet wet... and hopefully will get me out more often in general...
Thanks to all of you... and kisses too..

If you didn't hurt or scare each other the date was a success.
Don't sweat the could-have-beens, bad or good.

Glad that it went well. You know, my wife and I met on a blind date 44 years ago and while I was smitten on date 1 ... I think it took her a little longer ... but, needless-to-say, something must have worked. We've been married 41 years now.
Wishing you the best for all of your dreams. ((( HUGS )))
