Wow, just found this thread and wow. The possiblity to meet a group of the Pixies People sounds like an awesome idea. So Sadora, if you would be so kind as to PM me some details, I would be etrenally grateful. I've got some friends down that way, but would like info none the less though.

Hey guys!! I forgot to tell some of you.... when you make you reservations, ask for a 4th floor room. They have the best views of the ocean!!
Oh yeah, and anyone on a special diet (v-gans) let me know.
I am working on the menu for the dinners now.

You mean that there is going to be food provided too. Well, that brings a whole new prespective into it. Just kidding. Working on the idea and plans in my head, will get back toyou on it all. Except for the club, I might be able to pull it off.

Okay guys.... how about something simple on that Friday night? Like spegetti with meatballs, and salad? Or beef stew? (notice I am choosing from one-dish meals??)
Then on Saturday, I was thinking of having a bbq. Ribs, burgers, corn on cob, etc.
Let me know if this sounds good. I will be more than happy to make special things for people on a diet... just let me know!

Well I am just flaborgasted that not only is Sadora planning this great weekend, but also wanting to feed us too. You are a great woman. Your husband must be very happy and proud of you. I really hope that I can make it now.

I just hope it all turns out well. I hope it doesn't rain, and that the ocean is nice and calm.
My hubby IS actually proud of me.... he likes that I am giving everyone the oportunity to meet. (at least those that can make it).
The motel is like 20 minutes from my house, and that is inexpensive... I am a member of the club already. I figured that it would be much more expensive for everyone else, so why not provide the dinners? Besides, it is a great way to all get together socially.
BTW- The motel provides coffee, juice, and muffins or rolls from like 8am to 11am. So the only thing you will need to worry about is lunch. The rooms all have full kitchens with coffee makers and microwaves... as well as everything else. You may need dishes, as they didn't provide many, but I will have plasticware, and paper plates, etc.
This isn't a Hilton, so don't forget your soaps and blowdryers!!
