We'll have to decide where to meet for Friday's lunch and at what time. Maybe at 11AM at the hotel? How does that sound. That's about the time PF gets off the plane in Chicago, so, he should be there by ... what ... 10 after. It's only a 2-3 hour drive from O'Hara.

Heard on the news tonight that anyone traveling on I-74 from Champaign to Bloomington will have a detour. A semi hit a bridge and it will be out for at least a month. That is I-74 west bound between mile marker 152 and mile marker 135 will be detoured. The detour will be via US 136 and US 51. Anyone wanting more info let me know and I will find out for you.

Bummer...........that's too bad but not on our route.

Sounds like they're taking you from just before LeRoy to Heyworth and then north on 51 to Bloomington to reconnect with I-74. Not bad road ... and 51 is a 4-lane divided highway. Slightly shorter would be to go east on 136 at exit 152 1-mile to US150 and take it west to Bloomington where you could reconnect with I-74. Little shorter (about 4 miles) but maybe the road isn't quite as good and you'd. Not real bad either way. Total distance either way is about 20 miles which is about the same as I-74. Real advantage with 150 would be most of the I-74 traffic would be going on 136.

If Osuche is driving and she takes I-74, there should only be the two of us affected. And I know how to take the backways to Bloomington, so it will not be a problem for me. There is one lane East bound open.
