Seems he had some bad gas, and after a couple of hours of crying seems to have passed it and is happy again.

It's so horrible seeing such a contented little baby in such pain - it's not at all normal for him to cry and I struggle to keep it together when he does. I wish I could be in pain for him.

Poor little one. I've read that leaving at least 3 hours between feeds helps with colic, and I have to confess that the times he's suffered with it are the times I've not stuck to that rule. I've now made a vow to myself that it's better for him to be hungry for a while than have colic for hours and hours.

I had a setback on the turning New Year's Day involving me losing some valuables on the subway or on the street...from being distracted and not paying attention due to a little too much celebration on the eve...

It's annoying and it sucks, but ultimately I know it could've been much worse...and two of the more superficial things I lost — cell phone, camera — can be replaced. I had to get over the resulting how-could-I-have-been-so-stupid-depression that sort of froze me up mentally...temporarily cutting into the good vibes from the erotic art flow I had going on...

However, I sure feel a hella lot better now than I did two days ago, so...here's to the small victories in life, ey! Gotta keep on truckin'!
