As a die-hard Hartford Whalers fan, I am desperately hoping Carolina can bring the cup home. And with the players they have and the discipline they are showing, they just might!

I agree, the finals would be more interesting if Toronto was in there... Obviously, tonight's game could go either way... but I certainly have a preference towards one way over the other!

There was no comeback by the Av(not)s last night! Barely even an attempt....
I expected the RED WINGS to win, but I don't think anyone expected a shut-out, especially a 7-0 shut-out!!

I don't know where the Avs were the Friday, but they weren't in the game that's for sure...

In all fairness to the Avs, (and this is difficult for a Wings fan..lol)
they did have a lot of injuries to key players. Keane and Tanguay tried to play Friday but I think they were still hurting. Hard to play your best with injuries.

I guess they were lucky then....How the hell did the 'Canes manage to pull that off last night???? Oh well, they might as well enjoy it they won't get many more of 'em if any at all....
