What political figure has your interest?
What figure do you "follow"
You read the news articles about him/her? You pay attention when their name comes up on the News broadcasts?
It doesn't have to be one that you like, or don't like? Just that you listen a little more when you hear their name.
My own personal opinion of politicians is they are all crooks. Their only interest, no matter what they say, is making sure they have a job for the next 2, 4, 6 or even 8 years. That is where their interests lie, nothing more.
But to answer my own question, for me:
It's Vice President Dick Cheney. Probably, it is because I shook his hand when was Secretary of Defense, and he visited the USS Eisenhower, in 1990 during Operation Desert Shield, at the start of the first gulf war. I shook his hand and stood 20 feet from him when he addressed the crew.
Who is it for you?

Obama has my interest, but only because the system is so fucked up, it leaves little real alternative.
We continuously vote for the lest of several evils?
Vote Cthulhu, he's *all* evil!

I've got the same two interests as Lilith with Obama and Edwards.
As for the oral office candidacy........... my chad ain't hangin' when it comes to voting for Lilith. Nope, no hangin' involved at all. A straight party line that points right towards our Lil.

Micky Mouse after all he has been getting votes for years. Besides Goffy has been running the country the last 6 years. So I think it's Mickey's turn.

I used to have a "Cthulhu in '96 why choose the lesser evil?" t-shirt.

There are two:
1) Fred Thompson: I am very much intrigued by his potential candidacy for the U.S. presidency and want to learn more about him. Recent revelations about his health have me worried somewhat.
2) Elliot Spitzer: I am still trying to figure out if Spitzer will be good for NY as governor, or just another guy who failed to reel in spending.

How did you shake his hand standing 20 feet from him?
The way he hunts I wouldn't want to be on the same deck with him.

I've got really long arms!
I shook his hand as he walked past where I was standing on the deck, to get to the podium set up in the hangar bay.
