Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh! Weeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I almost missed this thread cause I was pervin up and down the page and was about to log off. Yikes!

TY, TY, TY so much everyone!

(((((((((((((db))))))))))))))...<----he knows I'm a sucker for poetry!

Well...it was our 5th "married" anniversay (been together much longer) and the traditional gift is wood. Guess what Mr. Lixy got me! *BUZZZ* Time's up! LMFAO!

Anyway...traditional is wood and modern is silverware (wtf?) so I went the traditional route and got Mr. Lixy a CraftsmanŽ dado blade for his radial arm saw. Romantic...ain't I? *giggle* He went gaga over it...so there! *raspberries* Hey! It was either that or buy him a tree. *shrug* This was a hard anniversay to keep to tradition. I figured the blade was for "wood" cutting and was content that I covered all the bases. He's in the barn as we speak...sawing away at the shelf he is making for all the old bottles I have strewn about in my kitchen. He was having trouble with the dado blade his step-dad loaned him. It was a "wobble blade" and it wasn't making the joint cuts very nice. I got a "dual blade" dado. I considered a "stacked blade" dado...but knew it was more difficult to set up for all the shimming going on with different size cuts. He's more than pleased with my choice!

His immediate gift to me was a humongous bouquet of seasonal flowers (sunflowers, daylillies, daisies, babies breath...etc.) and a romantic dinner at our fave restaraunt last night. He'll finish up the "wood" shelf for me this weekend and coming week.

And...((((db and Mrs. db)))) Take another hug for all you have done to commemorate this year for us! <---he'll know what that means!

Thanks for all the wishes (((((EVERYONE)))))!

I love you guys!
