Good for ya Lil and Alasse... I started that tradition last year... I still spent more than I planned, but I did it all with cash. Whenever I went out and thought I might pick up presents I made it a point to only have my debit card with me so I wouldn't be tempted to pull out the credit card.

I intentionally wait until the last minute every single year. More of a challenge trying to find just the right thing with what's left on the shelves - and you can usually get some good bargains on Christmas Eve too! I live for stress!!!!!!
