LOL I found some black Born loafers -- leather -- and I was looking for a good pair of loafers with arch support.

My mom getting a longer phone cord so she can actually reach the phone now. And her pain is not as bad so she sounds better.  |

I'm guessing it's the wall to phone cord not the handset to cradle cord. Thus the entire phone can be moved farther away from the wall jack

Right^^^^^^. Before the phone sat on the table by the bed but it was too far out of reach. Mom can't twist or stretch to answer it, so they finally got a longer cord so it can be next to her now. |

Sounds like mom needs one of those hip-hop, cell phones with the flashing, clip-on ear piece.

She has a cell phone, but when she could'nt use it in the hospital my sis let my neice borrow it. Mom don't like the cell anyway. |
