I've noticed as I've gotten older that in addition to the decrease in frequency of sex in my marriage, that I am losing interest in good old fashioned intercourse. Most notably missionary and to some extent even my favorite doggy style!. I'm finding that I prefer other forms of fooling around more (introducing toys, or giving/rec'v oral sex more, or general joint masturbation etc).

What about the rest of you? Finding similar experience or..?

Well at 34 my guess is that it's not an age thing (I hope not anyway...if it really is all down hill from here I'm in trouble!) but I go thru stages where I am not as interested in missionary...I want the more adventurous or even the toys and so forth.

It's very much a mood thing (gee I am sure many of you are going...moody woman?? Shocking!) but it's true. I am very moody about my sex. I have moods where I am wanting toys, or stories, or missionary...it just varies.

So in short (I know too late) I don't think it is an age thing!

I don't look at it as aging, but evolving. I'm much more comfortable with myself now, and with expressing what & when I want to try or do. I think that as a result, it may come across as "not interested in regular sex & requiring new & exciting things to maintain a spark", but is really just finally being secure enough to try some things that have been considered all along.

After a baby almost three years ago (we'd been together, dating and all, 19 years before we had a baby), sex for my wife and me looks totally different than it used to. I'm sure we're not alone in that area.

While the frequency is nowhere near what it was, the quality is the best it has ever been. While we never really communicated about sex before, we now subtly let each other know what we want.
