How many do you have?...........

T.V's ! Its amazing what you can learn of a person's Socio Economic background by the size of the T.V they have and how many.

We have 5 T.V's...

A 65" Widescreen upstairs in the Family room for Theatre viewing.
A 51" in the basement for when my buds are over
A 27" in my mom's bedroom.
A 27" in my brother's bedroom.
A 27" in my dad's room.

The guest room and my room used to have T.V's but they both broke over the last 2 years (they were really old) and we didn't buy new ones to replace them.

OH yeah the reason i ask, is that I once did a study in University about things in common with people who are comfortable with sex. The common things i found that were not surprising were 1) Sexualy active 2) Have more Privacy 3) Good communication with thier parents/partners or had someone they could confide everything with. The not so common things included 1) How many times a person moved (1 found that more people moved the less chances they were to be open sexually (keeping in mind that this did not mean they did not have sex) 2) How many T.V 's were in the home... For both men in women it meant they were able to watch some more Adult things privately especially if they had a T.V in their own room. (even tho the number of T.Vs and the size have nothing to do with it, that's just something i am interested in) 3) If the person's parents were divorced. I found that if a person's parents were divorced they were 30% more likely to be open about sex...I have some thoughts about that but my prof ordered me to pick one subject and investigate it thouroughly (that wasn't the one I picked)

But now I have an opportunity to see how many T.V's pixies members have and if it correlates to the theory I hold..Which I will share if anyone cares...lol..

well... i dont have one in my dorm...

but at home (where my parents live)... there is i believe 5 tvs... living room, guest room, sis room, my (old) room, and master bedroom... dont ask me for sizes because i dont remember... except all the tvs are normal tv sized except hte living room.. its a bit bigger. helpful i know haha.

also... ive moved around a lot when i was little... ( i am in the same house in tx for the past 8) and i lived in china, england, canada, before to usa.... and i am quite open sexually (what do u think, do u think i am?), esp since i am a virgin. so that thing didnt affect me that much...

5 TVs here~ Big one in the den, tiny under-cupboard one in the kitchen, 2 little ones in the boy's rooms and a tv /vcr combo for porn in my room

computers 3 up and running 2 more in storage..............one in each kid's room and then mine in my bedroom.

I think a study on mobility, especiallly during early years would be very interesting, in how it relates to sexual openess later. Find a whole lot of millitary kids and survey...................

TVs = 2: one in the front room of the apartment (32") that is the main movie watching setup (5.1 sound) and then there is a small TV in the bedroom that has not be on in over 2 years.

PCs = 4 (at the moment), all in the second bedroom/office: Main PC (on all the time, 19" flat screen), back-up server/secondary machine (also on all the time, the 17" monitor on it gets used as a TV when I am in that room) and then there are two of older 450MHz and 300MHz machines that are left off at the moment.

I've got a 13" that I keep here in my apartment at school. When I go home on weekends, I have a little black and white one in my bedroom that was MY DAD's IN COLLEGE!

Beyond that at our house, my brother also has a small one in his bedroom for playing PS2, a decent sized-one in the folks' room, our 27" living room TV, and our old 25" down in our family room.

So that brings the total TV ownership in my family to... 6

Computers.. 4 total: My own laptop and desktop, and my dad and brother each have their own desktops.

3 TV's A 25" in the den, 19" in daughters room and 13" in son's room. I don't have any place in my bedroom for one or I would have one in there too.
We have three PC's up and running and a few in hubby's office that aren't even plugged in.

I have one "working" TV but I own three. It's just me and hubby and that's all we need. I never watch TV in bed......that ain't what it's made for! We have one in the guest room but it's not connected to our cable so it's never been used. And I store one in my attic.......don't know why.....it's just up there, in case......I guess. I would like one in the kitchen. Like Lilith....I'd like a tiny, under-cupboard one. My home is so old it doesn't allow for an open view from the livingroom to the kitchen.......least not till I get the renovations I want. Architect's.........apply with-in!

Five ... I guess. I often have one on when I'm doing other things. Then my wife will come in and ask what's on and I'll answer, "I don't know." Hmmm. Guess I don't really watch all that close ... at least not the TV.

Gee, Lixy, I'm not an architech, but I've often thought it'd be neat to have an ol' Roman style villa with a central open air courtyard and all the rooms circling it. I'd put big windows facing the courtyard. Gee, what are those six numbers?
