Ofactory gratification
Greetings - is there anyone else out there in Pixie-land that shares my love of coffee beans (smell) but not the taste of coffee beans?
I'd love to have coffee beans spread around my house cause I love the way they smell but I don't drink coffee.
Strange? You be the judge.

Me! I love the smell of coffee beans..brewing coffee and even just walking by a coffee house is a comfort smell to me...but I never drink coffe. It just never tastes as good as it smells.

I drink coffee and love the coffee smells, but I love the smell
of fresh tea-leaves, but never drink tea.

White Noise,
Yes indeed, coffee is one of life's great deceits. While I do drink coffee, it never tastes as good as it smells while being brewed.

~mmmmmmmmmm~ I think it tastes as good as it smells. I also love to keep bowls of dried herbs and spices about. Currently my bowls are filed with cloves, crushed cinamon sticks, allspice, star anise, nutmeg, and chamomile flowers.

White Noise,
I have to agree with you. Manys the time I have smelled coffee that when I drank it was somewhat disappointed. This is especially true of the flavored coffees which always smell rich enough to eat but are not

The smell of coffee beans is nice, but I prefer to drink de-caf coffee. They're a bit like kidney beans in some ways - they're the same shape and wobble everywhere!

Love the smell of coffee and have tried to drink it many times. The taste is disappointing every time, no matter what brand or flavor. I'll just stick with hot cocoa or hot cider and continue to enjoy the aroma of fresh brewed java.
