Empty your Temp internet files, Cookies and History...that tend to fix most IE problems

If no luck let us know and we'll try something else

Just be careful when deleting cookies though. Some websites use cookie information to remember your username, password or other data. Its up to the individual as to whether they want to clear out that info.

But, what had been suggested (clearing temp internet files, etc) is generally a good way to go. When clearing out the temp internet files, you may also want to delete offline content.

If the problems still persist, you may want to double-check as to whether you have all the latest updates and stuff for Internet Explorer. ^^

The reason i say to empty all you cookies is that the one for here or elsewhere maybe corrupt causing a problem

One should always have a copy or a memory of their passwords anyway...puters a renowned for spitting the dummy and losing info

All it means is you will have to relog into sites that maybe using cookies to auto log you is all...and usually it is only the once and the new cookie will be set

I empty mine every two days...and its really no hassle...but hey thats me...that way i clear out any bugs or trojans that may be hiding in there

I dump my cache alllllll the time....XP has trouble saving images from the web etc. if your temp files and cookies are too full. Crappy flaw for such a widely used program.

I'm with ^^^^. Dump mine all the time and since I started doing that, I seem to have less problems.

Dumping the cache ... clearing temp internet files.

You can set limits to how much of this your browser keeps.

When you are in your browser, go to

TOOLS --> INTERNET OPTIONS --> SETTINGS

In the middle of the settings box, there is a setting that shows how many megabytes of Temp Files your browser will store. It's usually set pretty high. Set it to 5 MB or less and you'll rarely have to clean out your Temp Files after that.

There are also options for repairing internet explorer about which you might try. They are found in : Programs...Accessories....SystemTools...SystemInfo rmation....Tools. Sometimes that is also a good thing to attempt. That tool from microsoft repairs some essential explorer files which may have been damaged.

First let me thank you all, but no change.
The actual message reads :

"Explorer has caused an error in URLMON.DLL.."

I don't know if this will help anyone to help me, I do hope so.
I think I 'm getting the shakes from not seeing all you lovies.
