The people who are doing the pools think they are suckering somebody who dosen't have a chance of winning into forking over some cash and fatting the pool up and then they win. one year a girl I worked with won 2 pools (winning just under $1000) and all she knew about basket ball was that you put the ball in the hoop. All she had done was look at a March madness artiicle that had come out in the paper. Her boyfriend had laughed at her for filling them both out the same telling her she was just wasting her money.

Not exactly sure where I stand in my pool now. I know the very worst I can be is in first place by a single point. I've got Ohio St. winning it all so if they can pull it out Monday I'd be the winner. I think there is a scenario that if Florida wins I will end up tied and it will come down to the total pts. tie breaker. I have 144 pts. for my guess. Sort of on pins and needles this time around. I can't stand watching that Noah kid from Florida play, sort of freaks me out. He reminds of a the girl I took to prom my senior year of high school. Her teeth were better and she was much prettier but there is a strong resemblance.

We were in Gainesville the day of the last OSU-Florida basketball game (potential college visit) and counted a good number of Scarlet and Grey fans on campus. Unfortunately, that one was before Oden recovered his game.

This time around, I think we should see a real contest. Hopefully, the Buck's can top the Gators!

Got it confirmed for me last night. If Ohio State wins tonight I get the $350 for first place. If Florida wins, I still win the $350 as long as the total number of points scored in the game is at least 137. If not, then I only win $130.
