Hello, My name is....
How did you meet your S/O?
What was your first impression?
My wife and I had a class together in college. As far as first impressions go she thought I was some kind of wierdo, :dizzy: I thought she was a spoiled brat. We were both right!!!!
Also I just noticed this is my 100th post!!!

I met my S/O through Yahoo Personals. And as far as first impressions go....I was so damned nervous when we first met I didn't have time to form an opinion. I proceeded to get too tipsy even though my intentions were to abstain, nerves again. Oh well, I must have done something right, because we're still going strong! Thankfully he didn't go by our first date to formulate an opinion of me

Met my ex-husband when we were freshmen in college and we lived in the same dorm complex; my roommate introduced us. I thought he was a nice guy, but I thought of him strictly in the platonic sense. I was always trying to fix him up with one of my girlfriends or another. I was really surprised when he asked me out.
Met my present fiance' through an AOL personals ad I placed in which I was looking for someone interested in pursuing a long-term relationship.

I was 15 and went to work at Mickey D's in the nearest town 45 minutes away to earn much needed money! He was a college boy working nights there. He snapped me in the ass with a wet towel one night and we've been in lust ever since

I was working at a community newspaper. I met his aunt and uncle for stories I was doing and they asked if I knew him. I hadn't met him because he was a summer student and I arrived in November. When we met the following summer I knew he was someone worth pursuing. When we started dating, his aunt said she knew we'd be good together. Always good to get a second opinion

I was tending bar at a "go-go" (in them days they were called that) bar and he was owner/operator of a diesal mechanic shop for Yellow Freight in N.J. My boss had a boyfriend who drove truck for Yellow and so he and hubby would come into said bar and drink. Prior to us dating, we were good friends for a year and I tried to help him to get a date with his long time friend from high school....that he had been persuing and she wasn't really interested. Dunno why.....but suddenly it dawned on me that, "HEY! He's beautiful! WTF am I doing trying to hook him up with her for?" LOL! The rest is history!

I met my SO through this little known Website which I doubt anyone's heard of called Pixies Place.
I'd seen him around and thought he seemed really funny but I got the impression he was much older and married. One Saturday night he and I seemed to be the only British people online at the time. I PMed him to tell him that I was glad I wasn't the only sad git with nothing better to do than perve on a Saturday night.
After a while we started to chat on MSN and became really good friends and then that friendship started to grow into something a little more meaningful.
We met in r/l in January and to my delight I found he was exactly the same person I'd chatted to online and on the phone all this time.
We've been blissful ever since and continue to make fellow Pixies wantto vomit to this day.

We met through a radio dating show........ the kind that you call into and leave a profile.. and a computer matches you up with guys/gals... then you can pick and leave a message for that person. Well, I left him a message and he called me..... we talked for a month or so before meeting... met at a resturant and decided to continue to see each other. We have been married for 5 years now, and I am so glad that I was talked into calling the radio and setting up my profile........ hehehe by my mother!!!

We met in a chatroom when it was still considered very weird and not normal. Decided to hook up just to hang out because we enjoyed each other's sense of the absurd and had a hell of a lot in common. I don't think it occured to either of us (well, certainly not me) that this was viable relationship material until we actually met face to face. I remember him walking in and me wanting to run away because he was the most beautiful man I had ever seen (I was sort of shy and dorky then...still dorky, whoops). As luck would have it, he thought I was swank. Yay us. We perved out within 24 hours (Yay for slutty geeks!!!) and have been joined at the brain and hips ever since.
