What special gift have you bought for someone this Xmas?
Now, you have to promise to keep a secret ... but here's the present I bought for my wife for Christmas.
I'm looking forward to giving it to her and thought I'd share the secret with a few close friends here at Pixies ...
Any of you have any special presents you can give us a peek at?

as for things I have bought.. don't have a picture of it BUT... I bought my mom a beautiful stained glass Angel Statue that holds a heart charm bearing the name of each of her children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchild (a total of 11 hearts)

That sounds fantastic, jennaflower. My wife is big on angels and so I looked at several while I was deciding on her gift.

DB, not only is she lucky but I'm sure you're aware you're blessed to have someone special to share such gifts with. I remember the feeling of having a surprise gift in waiting when I was married. I miss very much having those feelings. I get the kids "special" things they ask for but it's not the same. There is no finer gift than one wrapped in love before the pretty paper and bows go on. Merry Christmas folks. Make it a great one. Oh and thanks for sharing DB.

Thank you BigBear ... you have a beautiful way of expressing yourself.
Lixy, I'll be looking forward to the 26th. Meanwhile ... I'll just imagine that Lamborghini parked in you drive ... or was it a Ferrari ... or a Morris Mini? Or that coupon book from McDonalds. Gosh, there are so many things to guess.
Steph, I am very lucky and I know it. TY!
And Merry Christmas, all!

DB~ It's beautiful and she will love it cause she loves you best!
My little one and I surprisingly were introduced to a new book during the same week. Both of us at school, and it made him giggle that his Mommy was reading the same books at school that he was (since he is in 2nd grade ). At one point in his life they thought that his brain issues would effect his cognitive and emotional abilities, so to hear him in the back seat mimic the story..."Epossumondas, you ain't got the sense you was born with," in a female cajun accent just made me get warm all over. So I promptly purchased this. I also downloaded her reading the story to put on a cd to give him with it!
