I've always been a big fan of James.
Mr. James Pucker. Sounds rather distingushed, yes?

I have a rule that the child cannot share the same name as any of my ex boyfriends, which rules out James, Iain, John, Lawrence and Robert.
I'm campaigning for Myles at the moment. It's my father's middle name and would have been mine too if I'd been a boy. Fussy liked it at first but is not so sure now.
He likes Thomas (but he'd be called Tom most of the time) and I like the name but it's sooooo common in England. He'd be going to school with about 3203975481 other Thomases which doesn't really appeal to me.
His middle name will probably be William (Fussy's Grandfather's name) and I would be happy with that as a first name, but Fussy's not so keen.
Fussy says regardless of what we name him, he's going to call him 'Fred' as that's what 'bump' is known as and that was what his Grandfather was always called, despite being Christened William!

What about naming him after Fussy (his RL name of course)?
That course of action is/was pretty popular here in the states for the first or last born. Dunno if it's something universal.
Or don't you want a "junior"?

My father-in-law was named Albert August but was called Fred. No clue why.....
So why not just name him Fred? or Fredrick? Freddie?

A new family moved into town and registered their children for school today. The oldest boy's name was Mason. I thought that was pretty neat.
"Mason William" Sounds good together..
