I wonder how Ronald McDonald feels?
I don't think I was ever scared of clowns as a kid and used to enjoy seeing them. Not a favorite, but not anything bad. Hmmmmmm. On the other hand, I can see now that the painted faces and everything could bother a lot of kids.

Most kids see clowns as cartoon characters.
It seems to be the kids who try unsuccessfully to relate to the clowns have the problem (expression issues).
