For those to whom it applies
Happy Thanksgiving!
May you spend it with good company and reminisce on things you are thankful for while being thankful for the new memories being created.

The turkeys of Australia are giving thanks that we don't have Thanksgiving.

The turkeys of TN are safe here, but the same can't be said for pigs or chickens.
Unfortunately, we're facing this holiday season with all our old traditions stripped away due to family conflict. But we're going to start building a fresh set of traditions on our own...
And no more having to pretend to like certain relatives

Happy Thanksgiving from oiur house to yours!
Probably my favorite holiday of the year. Not as commercial as most holidays makes it a good day all by itself.
But mainly, it's a great day for taking time to consider all the blessings in our lives. For me, that includes our faith, my wife, our children, our friends, the material blessings in our lives, and, this Thanksgiving, the completion of my chemo treatments and the successful cataract surgery on my wife. Of course, the great dinner doesn't hurt, either.

Just got home a little bit ago. What a great day. Loved seeing our daughters and their families and having the chance to spend some time with our new and older grandchildren and a really fast growing great grandchild. Great food; watched some football (Green Bay and Detroit); played some UNO (a card game that even the older grandkids could play) and, of course, took lots of pictures of all the family. Terrific day. Wish they could all be like that, except maybe a bit warmer outside.
