Hey Winston77, haven't seen you for a while.
There are so many vested interests (our scientists Vs their scientists) that much is lost to we poor layfolk.

It is encouraging to note that the IPCC's fifth assessment report (AR5), now with more, and more accurate data, has revised the climate sensitivity down, rather than up.

We need to immediately start dropping ice asteroids on Mars. Immense environmental vandalism which may give us a viable bolt-hole if Earth locks into an overheat spiral. The timeframe for our planet becoming a second Venus is frightening, possibly under 10,000 years.

That sounds like a plot line for a good short story. We would be ‘protecting’ future generations.

… but possibly a little longer.

Niven, Robinson and many others have written on this theme.

I’ll wager that Larry Niven took a characteristically ‘hardnosed’ approach in his treatment of the subject.

There are, without a doubt, varying opinions about AGW.
Additionlly, there are other costs of RE sources that are seldom discussed.
