Talking Hi, I'm also new!

Elloello! I don't know what this little community is like, but it certainly looks lovely, and a whole lot of fun.

I'm a 20 year old student from Ontario, a little on the daft side, but that's not necessarily bad.

I also use "" far too much...

Welcome Generic Man...
Nothing wrong with being a little "daft"!
My wife would probably tell you I'm a lot "daft"!!
And you're right... this community is quite lovely!

So how's it goin', eh?

Welcome aboard, from another 'daft' Ontario student...

I'm always glad to chalk one more up for the Canadian contingent!

Aha, another one suckered by the Ontario education system!

Glad to know I'm not alone.

*LOL* Maybe if I tell you that my parents are both teachers you'll know where I stand on the issue of education 'round these parts...

(For those who aren't from Ontario, I'll just explain that befriending teachers here doesn't mean that you like the education system --- in fact, it usually means the exact opposite! )

Anyway, enough politics. Maybe I'm repeating myself, but welcome to Pixies'! Too bad you arrived too late for the Christmas bash at my place --- you could have helped me show these folks the truth of the equation 'cold weather = hot party'! --- but I'm sure there will be a repeat... In fact, I'll issue the invitation now: stick around, come join the Easter fête in April!

I'm not sure I can turn down that kind of offer.

Whereabouts in this educationally underfunded province are you from?

(Don't worry, my mother is a teacher, and I'm a philosophy/politics student at a very left-wing University!)

Just hand me a red flag.

Oh yeah, enough politics.
