I wanted to know more about this, so I "googled" it.
The local paper says her sons are 12 and 16. Was Court TV making a mistake, or were her sons 11 and 15 when this happened, or is the national media distorting things?

So then the State prosecutes a woman for teaching her sons about sex.

I think most, but not all, eleven year old boys still think all sex talk is "yucky" But in La. I encountered reports of pregnant 12 year old girls and sexually active male preteens as well. So is 11 is NOT an inappropriate age to give basic information!

This is all so strange.

I think the county prosecutor has issues.
