I am cooking a turkey tonight for Wilderness's family. This is my first turkey ever!

Chicken Alfredo with home made Alfredo. The other women in the break room were so jealous! Especially the one eating a microwave spaghetti dinner..... Lol

I like roasted turkey dinners! They are one of the very few occassions during the year when I can say "Talk about a huge breast!" - in public, and get away with it.

A couple of months ago I entered a dutch oven cook-off and my wife asked me to make that meal for dinner tonite
curried pork chops,roasted corn on the cob,baked potatoes,and a cherry crumb cobbler
and I placed 2nd out of 20

Mexican restaurants are scarce, but not unknown, in this neck of the palmtrees.

We shared a guacamole dip as an appetizer. Dearsweet had a Fajitas plate, and I had three soft tacos (so I didn’t make a mess) with rice and refried beans.
Fresh, tasty, tangy and hot! Only $32!
Mi Viejo Pueblito. Recommended.
