my daughter had karate tournament today and had
four 1st places
1st in forms/routine
1st in weapons
1st in sparring
1st in Musical

The Bach concert this afternoon. It opened with Orchestral Suite #3, and followed with the opening chorus from Magnificat – both Crowd Pleasers.
The principal piece this afternoon was Bach’s “Ascension Oratorio,” a piece I had never heard in performance. Maestro Dimmock preceded it with a brief description of Bach’s musical language.
Grace Kim then performed the Prelude & Fugue in A minor.
A Great Afternoon, followed by a delicious dinner!
