Friday the 13th...
I am not a superstitious person, but this morning and all last night, my hub was in the bathroom. A sandwich he had yesterday disagreed with him. This morning when I took the dogs to get their nails clipped, the malamute pooped all over the back of my car. She waited until just before I opened the door at the kennels. I'm not liking the trend this day is taking. I still have a charity crochet group with elderly ladies to attend, today. Just gettin' nervous...

Usually Friday the 13th is kind of a lucky day for me..Not this time around!!..Woke up this morning to like 18" of REALLY HEAVY Snow..Trees were down all over,so when I finally got my car out of the yard,I couldn't go anywhere,lol..Not to mention power lines..Looked like the 4th of July through the night,lol..But..On the bright side..I'm one of the few that still has power. So,I'm warm..Well fed,and of course horny..So,I guess it's a computer night,lol..I'll remember this Friday the 13th..

Just attended the mortgage closing on a Habitat house. Nice to see the homeowners finally "owning" the house. The figures changed right up to a half-hour before everything was signed, but that was the lawyers' headaches, not mine, so I guess my good 13th was the yin to their yan.

I just went head-to-head with the other founder of the charity crochet group. I look at it as a "group". She looks at it as "MINE"! I left with my yarn in tow and 4 tables of shocked ladies. It's good to get that negativity out of my life. Someone screeching at me to form my own group was more than enough. Never seen so many wide eyeballs. LOL
You build Habitat houses? WOW! The new owners must be so very happy. What a wonderful thing!
The day gets more positive as it goes along.

Friday the 13th is a great day... unless you're spending the night at a secluded, run down, Summer Camp. :dizzy:

So it's really more like a crochity crochet group?

Yep...been doing it for four or so years now and I love it. I love building, but getting involved with the "behind the scenes" stuff has given me a different way to appreciate the work they do.
It was very rewarding to attend the closing. I was touched.
