Iffy right now. E. Peoria (about 10 miles from here) has an annual festival of lights. It's a town of about 20-25,000 people and their festival draws more than 100,000 from as far away as Chicago. Consists of floats made of lights (some very large floats), city and commercial buildings decorated and gleaming with lights, parks with decorated evergreen trees, and lots more. The parade of floats is really the highpoint. It stretches for (what seems like forever) and is a sight to behold. It's a wonderful show that when our kids were smaller we went every year. We've missed the past few years but keep thinking one of these days we're going to go again.

True. It is in a spiritual sense. Church attendance is very important; visiting with family and friends also a biggy. Good Friday we visited folks at two senior citizen facilities and attended an afternoon service at our church.
