Probably not.

T or F: Your car is about due for an oil change.

gekkogecko
02-04-2015, 10:33 AM
False. I don't have a car.

T or F: you're overdue for a health maintenance checkup.

BeachSex
02-04-2015, 08:44 PM
True. I'm really overdue for a full checkup.

T or F: You are planning a vacation for springtime

dicksbro
02-05-2015, 12:52 AM
Well false but with the likelihood that'll change. I suspect we'll plan something for the summer ... not big, but something.

gekkogecko
02-05-2015, 05:35 AM
T r F: you brain-farted, and forgot to pose a follow-on true or false dilemma.

dicksbro
02-10-2015, 12:41 AM
True.

T of F: You're planning something big for Valentine's Day.

PantyFanatic
02-11-2015, 01:45 PM
False, unless you count the following week after when I can buy a lot of discounted chocolate. :p

T or F? You like the candy sales after each holiday. :bite:

dicksbro
02-12-2015, 02:00 AM
True

T or F: You are planning on seeing "50 Shades of Grey" this weekend at the theatre.

BeachSex
02-16-2015, 08:25 PM
False, would rather do it than watch it. (No idea what it's about but I know it's sexual). lol

T or F: You have actually read the book "50 Shades of Grey"

dicksbro
02-17-2015, 02:01 AM
False

T or F: This year's weather so far in your area is as good as it gets!

jseal
02-17-2015, 08:29 AM
I want to believe that is False.

True or False: You received snow last night.

PantyFanatic
02-18-2015, 10:56 AM
true

The water has been stiff for over a week and no sign of it changing in the next 10 day forecast. :yikes:

BeachSex
02-18-2015, 07:33 PM
T or F: PantyFanatic didn't post a true or false question. :jester:

dicksbro
02-19-2015, 12:29 AM
F ... he could have said: T or F: The water has been stiff for over a week and no sign of it changing in the next 10 day forecast. ...

and ...

I would have answered True. We have one day forecast when it'll get just above freezing while there might be some melting, I suspect most of the ice will remain.

Now, for my TorF ...

T or F: That was too long an answer. :D

PantyFanatic
02-19-2015, 10:36 AM
False
(sorry for the shorthand BS, but DB was right on as usual.)

T or F? You only bitch about the weather until you see what Boston is dealing with.

dicksbro
02-20-2015, 12:36 AM
False. I bitch about the weather whenever I'm in need of something simple to bitch about. Usually there's something in the weather worth complaining about. :)

T or F: Cleveland and most of the E. Coast have had a really easy winter so far. Just a few little flakes of the white stuff and some nature made ice cubes to store up for summer.

jseal
03-06-2015, 10:43 AM
True: It's been pretty easy going here in Baltimore.

True or False: You're planning some home improvements this Spring.

PantyFanatic
03-14-2015, 07:00 AM
True! I have a ton of outside projects I want to get done on my new digs. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-fc/sweat.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org)

T or F? You always have enough $$$ to do all the things you want around your house?

dicksbro
03-22-2015, 03:33 PM
False. It'd even be false had I fibbed and said true.

T or F: You immediate family live within four hours of where you live?

gekkogecko
03-23-2015, 06:58 AM
Um, immediate family of origin, or immediate family of choice?

dicksbro

jseal
03-29-2015, 12:19 PM
False

True or False: You've planted some Spring flowers.

dicksbro
03-30-2015, 12:28 AM
False ... just too cold so far. Probably will once the weather breaks and it starts feeling like spring.

T of F: The weather in your area is still kind of chilly.

jseal
04-12-2015, 08:43 AM
False. This morning is gorgeous!

True or False: You're pleased MLB has resumed! :D

dicksbro
06-01-2015, 02:26 AM
True ... although I'm not a huge fan. I kinda root for the Orioles and the Cubs ... but not to the point that I check their records very often and almost never watch a game.

TorF: You're execting rain this week.

dicksbro
06-03-2015, 02:13 AM
True ... but not until Friday. We've had a bunch, so a little break won't hurt. Time to get the car washed maybe.

jseal
06-06-2015, 06:09 PM
Only rain on Monday night, and that's a good thing.

True or False: You don't have to go to work on Monday.

dicksbro
06-07-2015, 03:19 AM

Yours pets/household friends are getting old.

Miss the little guy.

TorF: You think our country is headed for a depression soon.

jseal
06-20-2015, 06:04 PM
Depression: no. Recession: inevitable.

True or False: The Pope's encyclical Laudato Si (http://w2.vatican.va/content/francesco/en/encyclicals/documents/papa-francesco_20150524_enciclica-laudato-si.html) was a surprise.

dicksbro
06-21-2015, 12:11 AM
Somewhat true. Pope Francis has been pretty forthright and open on current issues and so in that sense it wasn't a big surprise ... yet, he addressed the changes that are occurring in more depth than previous acknowledgements by former Popes and so in that sense, yes, it was a bit of surprise. He certainly isn't a man to dodge the issues, is he?

jseal
06-27-2015, 10:22 AM
Very True!

The SCOTUS has not been afraid to rule on thorny issues lately.

dicksbro
08-15-2015, 12:12 AM
True ... except they seem to want to take over making new law rather than their real job of interpreting laws based on our constitution. If they think the constitution needs changed, there is a legitimate process for doing so.

Teddy Bear
08-15-2015, 08:22 PM
Very True!

The SCOTUS has not been afraid to rule on thorny issues lately.

And here all this time I thought 'SCOTUS' was the thing just below a man's cock.

I'm kidding. I would say True to the post.

And then I would ask: Can we really be close to having a woman run for President opposite Trump????

jseal
10-03-2015, 05:57 AM
True, although I doubt that Trump will be the Republican candidate.

You would prefer the Presidential campaigns to begin no sooner than one year before the election.

dicksbro
10-03-2015, 11:55 PM
True ... although it'd be even nicer if it was limited to six months.

jseal
10-20-2015, 04:16 AM

T or F: You wish whitewall tires for your car would make a comeback?

gekkogecko
10-30-2015, 06:46 AM
False, I never understood their appeal in the first place.

T or F:

dicksbro
12-22-2015, 01:02 AM

jseal
12-23-2015, 04:24 PM

dicksbro
12-24-2015, 01:17 AM

dicksbro
12-27-2015, 02:29 AM

T or F: You're hosting a huge-ass NYE party.

dicksbro
12-28-2015, 01:59 AM

T or F: They're predicting snow for New Years Eve in your area.

gekkogecko
12-28-2015, 07:31 AM

Overall, possibly the warmest week after christmas for this area since people started keeping records

T or F:
You've been swimming regularly throughout December.

dicksbro

True or False: 2015 has been a good year for you.

dicksbro
12-31-2015, 02:18 AM
In some ways yes, but, with a lot of difficulties and expensive problems, too. Still, I've got my wife, my family, my faith, and my health. I guess that's enough blessings for anyone. God bless you and yours, jseal, today and all through the coming year!

True of False: You've already made up your list of New Year's resolutions.

jseal
12-31-2015, 07:08 AM

FlirtWithMe
02-18-2016, 04:11 AM
True

T or F you've stuck with this year's New Year's Resolutions so far.

dicksbro
02-21-2016, 01:12 AM
So far I've stuck with all those I didn't make. Does that count?

True up until this past week. Now I hear it's going cool a little bit again.

gekkogecko
04-22-2016, 06:45 AM
But another conundrum? Where's my conundrum?

T or F: the spring weather pattern has been drier in your area than it usually is.

dicksbro

False. We've had some pretty good rains this past week.

T or F: You're tired of the requests for money by politicans.

jseal
04-23-2016, 12:46 PM
True. Very true.

True or False: You did not expect the President candidate campaign process to have played out as it has.

dicksbro
04-24-2016, 01:11 AM
True.

True or False: You're looking forward to a beautiful summer.

gekkogecko
04-24-2016, 08:58 AM
Probably false, given the amount of ambiguity that's surrounding some planned events. Will have to wait & see.

T or F: You've gone to a local attraction in the past week.

jseal
05-04-2016, 03:25 AM
True if a performance by Bach in Baltimore counts as a local attraction.

True or False: This has been a wet Spring.

dicksbro
05-07-2016, 01:37 AM
True ... not like Texas or some other locations ... but wet. :)

Good for the freshly planted crops.

jseal
05-07-2016, 05:46 PM

Both of them. :banghead:

T or F? You've enjoyed the reasonable weather this last twelve months.

dicksbro
05-13-2016, 01:06 AM
Generally true. The weather hasn't been all that bad (or good) the last twelve months even though individual days or weeks may have left something to be desired.

T or F: You're hoping for a good few weeks of real spring weather before summer hits us full force. :wish:

jseal
05-13-2016, 06:33 AM
True!

True or False: You're planning an out of state trip.

dicksbro
05-14-2016, 12:05 AM

True or False: Your home improvement DIY list is long and getting longer.

dicksbro
05-20-2016, 12:15 AM
True. :(

T or F: The weather hasn't really helped you get your outside spring projects done yet.

gekkogecko
05-20-2016, 06:43 AM
Hm, I think this one is Schroendinger's dilemma. There are some where the wet spring has actually helped, but things like trying to get the lawn mowed, it has distinctly interfered with. And I have the book festival to deal with tomorrow, which is likely to be a bitch and a half in the rain.

T or F: you have big plans for Memorial Day weekend.

dicksbro
05-21-2016, 02:21 AM
Tentatively planning on visiting our parents burial sites. My wife's folks in Decatur, IL and my parents folks at a National Cemetery near Springfield, IL. Not definite yet, but a strong maybe.

T or F: It's going to be warm day where you live.

gekkogecko
05-22-2016, 10:40 AM
False rain & cold for mid-May yesterday, and the same today.

T or F: Your garden is thriving because of all the rain.

dicksbro
05-23-2016, 01:16 AM
Kinda true. No garden, but our grass and flowers are doing wonderful so far.
Mowing is at least once a week and threatens to require three mowings every two weeks.

T or F: You had a great weekend!

jseal
05-30-2016, 09:34 AM
Yes indeed!

True or false: You'll be cooking on the grill today.

dicksbro
06-02-2016, 12:35 AM
False. For one thing ... our grill needs replacing. :(

T of F: You're expecting rain showers today.

jseal
06-04-2016, 01:36 PM
False, but tomorrow has some serious rain forecast.

True or false: You will attend an MLB game this season.

dicksbro
06-08-2016, 11:46 PM
False. Well, maybe a minor league game one of these days. The Peoria Chiefs have a great stadium and a pretty fair team. We've enjoyed going to watch them although not on a real regular basis.

T or F: You like to watch birds and squirrels and other wildlife in parks or your backyard.

gekkogecko
06-09-2016, 08:15 AM
Both true & false. Other wildlife, sure, but squirrels are nasty, destructive, long-tailed tree rats, and I detest them.

T or F: You have a lot of outdoor activity in your immediate future.

dicksbro
06-10-2016, 01:05 AM
True ... maybe. Not sure what all we'll be doing at our daughters, but, usually we have a cookout if weather permits. :)

T or F: You're expecting to live to see men landing on Mars.

jseal
06-18-2016, 04:11 AM
False, but I hope I'm wrong.

True or False: You slept soundly last night.

dicksbro
06-20-2016, 01:02 AM
True.

T or F: You try to be active in local politics.

PantyFanatic
06-23-2016, 10:03 AM
 FALSE!!!
That's one sewer I stay out of even though I've long been very active in 'civics' and there is a well defined line for me.

T or F: You've not had any recent issues with major home appliances.
:hair:

dicksbro
06-24-2016, 02:13 AM
True.

T or F: You like wearing shorts whenever you can during the warm summer months.

jseal
06-30-2016, 01:34 PM
False

Batman is way cooler than Superman.

PantyFanatic
07-02-2016, 11:15 PM
False! Not in my town (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superman). ;)

T or F: You are going to venture to a fire works display this weekend.

dicksbro
07-26-2016, 10:57 PM
False ... I think they've already pulled fireworks barges away from Peoria.

jseal
07-30-2016, 01:03 PM
True or False: Gentlemen prefer blondes.

dicksbro
08-01-2016, 12:22 AM
False. The female gender is a more important than hair color. :D

T or F: You'd rather take an ocean cruise rather than a river cruise.

PantyFanatic
08-02-2016, 08:35 AM
False. My only 'ocean cruse' was on a troop ship. I've enjoyed river cruses much more.

T or F? You prefer coffee to tea.

dicksbro
08-04-2016, 01:44 AM
False. I think I like both approximately the same but at different times. I'll drink tea during a dinner, but, have a cup of coffee after dinner. I'll have coffee in the morning ... but tea in the afternoon. Hmmm ... maybe I'm just confused.

T or F: Order is better than anarchy.

jseal
08-06-2016, 10:51 AM
True

True or False: Summer is better than Winter

dicksbro
08-07-2016, 02:00 AM
True

T or F: Keeping your gas tank above the half tank level is your normal practice.

PantyFanatic
08-08-2016, 09:03 AM
False, I start watching it after 1/2 but will let it go to 1/4 tank before filling up in the summer. In the winter you are right. The more air space in the tank has more room for condensation to possibly form and add water to the tank.

T or F? You prefer gauges to only lights that come on when it's too late.

dicksbro
08-10-2016, 01:52 AM
True

T or F? You'd rather be happy and poor than rich and sad.

gekkogecko
08-10-2016, 09:56 AM
True, although I'd just settle for happy, whatever the circumstances.

T or F: You prefer rye bread to wheat bread.

dicksbro

And, hopefully we'll get back to some real growth in the job market (all though, that'll be less of a personal plus.)

dicksbro

True. It was main my wife and I and our oldest and youngest sons. Other members of the family had too many things going on this year although our daughter in Indianapolis hs suggested next year they may host a full family reunion and dinner. :D I was thinking maybe I should go over now so I can get a good place at the table.

dicksbro
12-04-2016, 02:35 AM

T or F: You have plans to make it to one of these christmas light shows in your region.

dicksbro
12-05-2016, 01:30 AM
Iffy right now. E. Peoria (about 10 miles from here) has an annual festival of lights. It's a town of about 20-25,000 people and their festival draws more than 100,000 from as far away as Chicago. Consists of floats made of lights (some very large floats), city and commercial buildings decorated and gleaming with lights, parks with decorated evergreen trees, and lots more. The parade of floats is really the highpoint. It stretches for (what seems like forever) and is a sight to behold. It's a wonderful show that when our kids were smaller we went every year. We've missed the past few years but keep thinking one of these days we're going to go again.

dicksbro

gekkogecko
12-06-2016, 11:31 AM

True. It is in a spiritual sense. Church attendance is very important; visiting with family and friends also a biggy.
