Looks like a belated congrats on 10k is in order.

Also, I'm not sure when they did it, but time-life video recently went back from 10 vhs/dvds for their best of the muppet show series to 15. They originally started with 15 but cut them down to 10 when they released the DVDs for some reason. I've estimated they'd need around 40 or so to do EVERY episode....

I think I've stated somewhere here before that I've got the first 6 of the Time Life collection on VHS. Got a deal on getting them together, before they decided they'd do DVDs. D'oh.

The 15 VHS/DVDs go for $149. $10 a disc/tape.

By the way, individually from time-life these are $20 for VHS, or $25 for DVD. Some of their releases have also filtered into retail stores (the first 4 dvds have, I think).
So you might be able to get them slightly cheaper.

You can also get the first 5 for $50, first 10 for $100, and all 15 for $150, as mentioned.

There's still a lot of things I'd like to see get released, even though I own them on VHS. George of the Jungle, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Pinky and the Brain/Animaniacs....

At least the classic WB cartoons are due out at the end of October.

Another series of plastic figurines was produced in 1959, by LEGO. This time the Pig-Pen figure had "dirt."

These also had heads on springs, a fore-runner of the bobble-head dolls, popular again today.

The Lucy in this collection had a 'crabby' expression. This is unusual because the licensed toys usually had 'happy faces.'

Schroeder's figurine in this collection had the toy piano and Beethoven bust imprinted on his 'shirt.'

So we've lost a bit of momentum again.
This is in answer to IAKG's question.

But provided both we and the site are still here in 19 years, I guess it's something to do, right?

I'm not going to start venturing guesses on 100k, but anyone want to shoot for 20k?

We basically just have to double what we have, so another four months should do it!

Given IAKG doing about 50 posts per day, with over 10k already, I've estimated it'll take her another 1780 days to hit 100,000 personal posts.

Or 4 years, ten months, 2 weeks.

Anyone else want their stats run?
